Course Description:
'' This course teaches participants the requirements for performing quality audits under the ISO 9001:2000 Standards. The participants will also learn the difference between the ISO 9001:1994 and ISO 9001:2000 standards. Participants will learn how to prepare for the audit, review the required documentation, develop the audit plan, select the audit team, and issue the Letter of Notification to the auditee. They will learn the details related to conducting the audit including opening the audit meeting, performing the audit, the differences between first, second and third party audits, how to perform the desktop, and implementation audit, how to manage varying personalties, and conducting daily debriefing with the auditee. The participants will learn how to conduct the closing meeting for the audit. The audit report and post audit activities will be intricate parts of the workshop. Participants will evaluate the findings and the auditees corrective action plan. The workshop will allow participants to examine the requirements for the follow-up audit and evaluate the effectiveness of the corrective actions.
