Excellent Programs, On your first day at school, we will test your language knowledge and assign you to the correct study level. EF’s excellent teachers hold specialist qualifications in the teaching of their own language to non-native speakers. EF also provides students with placement and progress tests along with comprehensive pre-departure material. A full program of social and sports activities, free of charge or at special EF group rates will keep you busy throughout your stay in America.

Preparation for the TOEFL and Cambridge exam are available in most locations. The schools in the United States are officially approved by ACCET. Courses start almost every Monday of the year so there is bound to be one that fits with your academic, personal, or professional commitments. Programs can be designed ranging from 2 weeks to a year and our staff will match you up with the course that best accommodates your needs.

Host families are recommended and available for those who want to be more fully immersed in the native culture and language. Students reside in twin rooms in carefully selected host families or in a student residence. At school or in student residences your classmates will be from countries as far apart as Finland, Chile, Indonesia, and Portugal. Together you learn, explore, have fun, and speak English day in, day out.
