'' Designed for those individuals in the Industry and rescue who wish to teach confined space rescue techniques. Prerequisite: Technical Confined Space Rescue.
Covered: Day One: Explanation of equipment use and strengths. Anchor Selection and construction. Team safety. Edge safety. Various belay techniques. Various rappel techniques. Day Two: Advanced Anchoring techniques. Tying off a belay in tandem and solo. Tying off a rappel device. Mock situation tests. Rope ascending techniques. Day Three: Haul Systems. Rope System Redirection. Rescuer positioning. Day Four: Confined Space Victim Packaging. Mock situation test.
You will be required to demonstrate flawless practical skills as well as a sound understanding of limitations and advantages of specific techniques.
