'' Ecuador is a small, stable, democratic country, a beautiful land of colour and contrast, with some of the most varied geography in South America; towering Andes Mountains, coastal tropical plains, Amazonian rain forest and the amazing Galapagos Islands, 600 miles offshore.



Quito, the ancient Inca city and modern-day capital of Ecuador, is a wonderful location, at 9,000 feet in a beautiful valley surrounded by snow capped peaks. This friendly city has maintained its colonial charm and enjoys a pleasant climate, with average daytime temperatures of 15-21 degrees Celsius.


School in Quito Our school in Quito is located in a former ambassador’s house, surrounded by gardens. There are 15 classrooms, a library, small heated pool and volleyball pitch. Quito is an excellent base from which to explore Ecuador, and many students finish off their course with a trip to the incredible Galapagos Islands.
