Expanding museum collections and the introduction of new public programs have created a demand for professional development. This certificate program is designed for individuals interested in volunteering or working in a museum environment.
Program participants gain practical knowledge and skills through lectures, discussions, readings, demonstrations, guest presentations, field trips and exercises. They design an individual museum project that is tailored to their interests.
