'' This workshop equips supervisors and managers to put into practice a set of proven techniques that will enhance leadership effectiveness. Participants learn techniques for improving self-awareness, decision making, problem solving, conflict resolution, negotiation and planning. To practice and reinforce these techniques, participants work on simulations and case studies in small groups. Upon completion, participants will be able to effectively access leadership problems in their organizations, determine the primary cause and apply appropriate leadership techniques to address the problem.
Additionally, participants will have completed a leadership style assessment and a personal development plan. This workshop has been successfully delivered to over 3,000 managers at a range of institutions in the Pacific Northwest.
The workshop will be facilitated by a distinguished pair of leadership experts who bring experiences such as having co-authored material with an author of the national bestseller, Getting to YES, serving as the organizational development manager for one of the worlds leading medical centers, and having taught the principles of leadership on most of the major continents around the world.
