Course Description:

'' Length of course: 2 weeks
Course starts: Monday 21 February, Monday 21 November (Christchurch only)
Course content: 1st WEEK: General English in the mornings. Afternoons: preparation for the Scuba Diving Course at local swimming pool.
2nd WEEK: (4 nights/5 days) at Kaikoura Dive Centre (184 km from Christchurch) www.godive.co.nz
Lessons are daily for 5 days, 9.00am - 4.00pm. Each day there are 3 hours in the open water and 2 hours in the dive pool. Lessons cover snorkelling, swimming and diving skills, rescue techniques, navigation and dive planning. There are 5 open water dives.
Fee includes: General English, preparation for scuba diving in Christchurch, Medical Certificate, scuba diving course in Kaikoura, hire of scuba diving equipment, transport to and from Kaikoura and 4 nights shared Backpacker accommodation in Kaikoura.

Fee does not include: Accommodation in Christchurch, meals in Kaikoura
Entry Requirement English level Intermediate (5), Medical Certificate (Dominion recommends doctor), 200m swim confidently and 10 minute float.
Relevant fees will be refunded if the student, at Dominion’s discretion, is not able to take this course.
Course achievement: PADI Open Water Dive Certificate (internationally recognised).
