Access 2010 brings better integration with SQL Server and enhanced XML support. This course shows developers how to take advantage of these and other improvements available.

Microsoft Access 2010 offers a rich set of features and design tools for storing, analyzing and viewing data, along with the inherent ability to connect to a large variety of data sources. During this course, students will discover the benefits of using the newest features to build small to medium scale database applications, integrate with other programs, create Web applications and upgrade existing solutions.

Prerequisites
Before beginning this course, students should be able to design a relational database; to create a database with multiple tables, forms and reports and to create queries. Six months of experience using Microsoft Access is recommended.

The student should also be comfortable with Structured Query Language (SQL). They should be proficient in writing select statements and be able to update statements and where clauses.
