In the first year, you complete general business courses in economics, management, marketing, research methods, accounting, business law and ethics, and informatics. You then undertake specialised studies in the principles of international business, cross-cultural management, international marketing, export management, trade and finance, and global e-business.

The Bachelor of International Business degree offers specialisations in Asia, Europe or the Middle East and provides a three year program in which the study of international business is enhanced through study of an Asian, European or Middle Eastern language and culture. Languages available for study include Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Javanese, Korean, Lao, Malay, Persian (Farsi), Sanskrit, Spanish, Tetum, Thai, Turkish, Urdu, or Vietnamese. Students completing the Asia or European specialisation may choose to study for one semester (in English)at one of the partner universities of the ANU College of Business and Economics in Asia or Europe.
