'' On 1st July 1999, Jane Rowland, who had been managing The Australian Film & Television Academy (TAFTA) for Paula Duncan on a national basis for 2 years, took over the Brisbane and Gold Coast campuses, formulating The Australian Film & Television Academy Queensland Pty. Ltd. Jane later
renamed it the Academy of Screen Performance (ASP) and became ASP’s Director.

Jane Rowland is not only the Academy’s Director but is also a Movie Producer, having made 2 feature films so far; Demons In My Head and To Become One. 95% of the cast from “To Become One�were ASP students.
Jane acquired RTO (Registered Training Organisation) status in September 2000 leading to a Diploma of Screen Performance. Following this in mid 2002 Jane acquired accreditation for our Course in TV Presenting, making it the first and only one of its kind to date in Australia.
