'' The English Training Centre was set up in 1997 to provide high-quality distance education courses in TESOL and TEFL. ETC TESOL courses are accredited by the Accreditation Council for TESOL Distance Education Courses (ACTDEC). This accreditation confirms the professional quality of our courses.
ETC is also an institutional member of the College of Teachers and abides by its code of practice. Our Teaching Business English course is accredited by the College of Teachers.
ETC is ISO 9001 certified. This certification confirms the quality of our management systems. Although most of our tutors work at the University of Birmingham, ETC is not part of the university.
