'' Monash University has offered graduate programs in business since the 1960s. The Master of Administration, later changed to MBA, started in 1968 and continues today. Specialist Masters degrees were offered, notably in Marketing, on the Caulfield Campus even prior to the merger with Monash in 1990.

Its programs include higher degrees by research - PhD and DBA; cross-faculty programs, such as the MBA and Master of International Business; specialist Masters degrees in Management, Marketing, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Law and Taxation, Economics and Econometrics, Risk Management to name but a few. Within the limits imposed by each course it is possible to combine subjects across departments and programs within departments, allowing substantial choice.
