'' PB Cosmetology Education Centre was founded in 1960 by the husband and wife team of Peg and Bob Hogan, their initials still make up the company name. It flourished as a small school called PB Method of Hair Design teaching cosmetology and nails for over 25 years. Bob Hogan died in the 1970’s but Peg carried on, overseeing the teaching and the raising of four children. All four of their children graduated from PB and earned licenses as cosmetologists but moved on to other careers.
Today, the school operates as PB Cosmetology Education Centre and offers three basic programs and a graduate course for teaching. Students and graduates have the best of both worlds, a connection to the international community of cosmetologists through Pivot Point, and the long standing tradition of quality training by a local family business.
