'' SkillsTech Australia is one of Australia’s leading vocational education facilities and is Queensland’s leading Institute in automotive, building and construction, manufacturing and engineering, and electrical/electronics studies. Courses have been designed in close consultation with business and industry, ensuring industry-relevant skills and knowledge for our graduates.
SkillsTech Australia began on 1 July 2006, and when fully operational will specialise in automotive, building and construction, manufacturing and engineering, and electrical/electronic studies throughout Queensland.
SkillsTech Australia is developing closer links with industry and centres of excellence to ensure that our vocational education and training qualifications address employer and student needs.
We will deliver training in a range of ways to meet the needs of regional and metropolitan Queenslanders in all stages of life. This includes face-to-face instruction, workplace based learning, texts, video-conferencing and e-Learning.
Training will be available 50 weeks of the year to allow employers and students greater flexibility and graduates will receive nationally recognised and accredited qualifications.
