'' Founded more than 30 years ago, UCB has consistently fostered the aspirations and accomplishments of thousands of Maine residents who otherwise might never have explored the possibilities of a post-secondary education.

We know that many people, whether recent high school graduates or those who have been away from school for some time, can be intimidated by larger institutions. Some have needed time to work on skills, while others have family and work commitments that preclude significant travel to classes. University College of Bangor provides opportunities for fresh starts and new directions for people in the Bangor tri-county area.

Since 1995, the University College of Bangor (UCB) has served as a campus of the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA), strengthening UMA’s focus on providing professional programs for recent high school graduates and adults returning to the classroom.
